Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is the latest game in the metal Gear series, the game is set four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4. Raiden is back exploring his past and looking for justice.
Raiden was a child soldier and was transformed into a cyborg ninja. Contracted to protect a VIP, they are attacked by a cyborg organisation which leaves Raiden totally defeated and needs to be reconstructed.

Raiden is searching for Sam Rodrigues the cyborg involved with the PMSC group who fought against Raiden in 2018, and finds himself in a quest for vengeance.
Gameplay focuses on sword fighting and stealth. A feature of the game is called zan-datsu which means that Raiden can cut through enemies and then taking body parts from dismembered cyborgs.
The player can change how raiden loosk by changing his skin, he doesnt try to go unnoticed as he did in other games. Raiden’s main weapon is a high frequency blade but he can also use other blades like daggers, he also uses a rocket launcher. Other weapons will be unlocked along the way after defeating bosses.
