The Order: 1866 is a single player action adventure video game set in an alternate history London in Victorian times, it is a third person shooter. There is an order of knights keeping the world safe from half animal half man monsters.
In the seventh or eighth century some people took on the traits of beasts, the humans were afraid of the half breeds and a war started, humans outnumber the monsters but the monsters overpower the humans with their strength. Centuries later King Arthur and his knights of the round table give the people new hope and start to fight the half breed monsters.

The Order: 1886 is set in an alternate version of the Victorian era with advanced weapons and gadgets that did not exist including the Arc Gun, Combo Gun, The Thermite Gun and various others.
The game fuses real history, real places, people and events with twists, myths and legends to make a history different to the one we know now.
The lower classes start to rebel against the rich and well to do and the knights support the upper classes and nobles.
There are four main protagonist in the game who have adopted names of one of the original knights of King Arthur. Sir Galahad, Sebastian Malory, Isabeau D’Argyll and Marquis de Lafayette.
